About

Our Story is our legacy:

The seed idea for We R One World was planted in the 1990s after playing Buckminster Fuller's World Game. The World Game was a means for exploring expeditious ways of distributing the world’s resources efficiently so as to be able to provide a higher standard of living for all of humanity. It has become clear that there is an abundance of resources to go around, therefore it seems we do not have a crisis of resources, we have a crisis of consciousness. We have a crisis of attitude; we have a crisis of worldview and mindset. We R One World seeks to cultivate a shift in awareness, consciousness, attitude, mindset and worldview. We R One World continues to be inspired by the life and work of Buckminster Fuller. All acknowledgement goes to him, not us.

Our vision is inspired by possibility:

"To make the world work for 100% of humanity in the shortest possible time through spontaneous cooperation without ecological offense or the disadvantage of anyone." -Buckminster Fuller

Our Mission is simple:

  • "You cannot change how someone thinks, but you can give them a tool to use which will lead them to think differently."
    -Buckminster Fuller
  • Our mission is to inspire others to create a new reality. We R One World is merely a tool to help fulfil that.

Our Values are simply:

  • The complete belief in the deep goodness of the human spirit. The intrinsic value contained in the human is more valuable than action and that action is more valuable than a system that controls us.

Our Purpose is profound:

"A human being is part of the whole, called by us “universe,” limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest – a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a prison, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons close to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from our prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all humanity and the whole of nature in its beauty. "

-Albert Einstein
